Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine, 610-641. Solidus (Gold, 21 mm, 2.89 g, 6 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Constantinopolis. Irregular mint, after 616. Crowned, draped and short-bearded bust of Heraclius facing, on the left; crowned and draped bust of Heraclius Constantine facing, wearing a moustache, on the right; above, cross; around, blundered legend. Rev. VICTORIA AVGЧ [officina letter] / CONOB Cross potent on base and three steps. Cf. DOC 13, MIB 11 and SB 738 (for prototype). An interesting light weight imitation. Scratches and the flan bent and straigthened, otherwise, about very fine.
